The demand of Micro Launchers has strongly increased the recent years, and this offers interesting business opportunities. The region of Norrbotten, with Esrange Space Centre and Space Campus as two unique nodes, provides state-of-the-art test environments and launch facilities on European ground.
Why participate
Testbed Esrange is already today including tests of reusable rocket motors and launching small satellites in the near future. Customers are standing in line and there will be a need of regional suppliers in a variety of areas.

RIT2021 is organizing this event. RIT stands for “Rymd för innovation och tillväxt” which is ”Space for innovation and growth” in English. RIT2021 is an EU funded project co-operated by Luleå university of technology (LTU) and LTU Business in collaboration with the Institute of Space Physics (IRF) and Arctic Business. |
The aim of the project is to create regional growth in the space
business, by strengthening R&D collaboration between Academia, the
space sector and the innovation support system. The partners
involved in the project belong to academia (LTU), Swedish Space Industry
(SSC, GKN Aerospace and OHB Sweden), the regional innovation support
system (LTU Business, Arctic Business) as well as the public sector
(Kiruna and Luleå Municipality, Norrbotten County Council and Sparbanken
Nord.
Cost
The conference is free of charge but a fee of 1 000 SEK will be invoiced in case of no-show.
